The Tithe Challenge

As a member of The Church at Polaris, I accept the tithe challenge. Therefore, I am committed to tithe 10% of my gross income for one full year. I understand that by bringing the tithe to God through this local church, I am preventing a host of issues affecting children, students, single adults, and marriages. I understand that The Church at Polaris is willing, if at any time I need all or a portion of my tithe returned to me, they will promptly honor my request.

What is The Tithe Challenge?

We believe that God instructs us that the first 10% of our income belongs to Him, and He has called us to bring it to Him through the local church. In turn, God promises to provide for our needs. We believe so strongly that God will fulfill his promise that we are willing to return all or a portion of your tithe back to you in the event that you need it for any reason.

How do I tithe automatically?

It's easy to bring the tithe automatically by setting-up a repeating gift using our Online Giving application. You can schedule an amount to be withdrawn from your account on the dates you choose. (To avoid a percentage of your tithe going to our credit card processor, we recommend having your tithe withdrawn from your checking account.)

Another great option is to set-up an automatic bill payment through your bank's web site. Simply have them send your tithe to: The Church at Polaris, 1250 Gemini Place, Columbus, Ohio 43240. You can use your last name as the "Account Number".

How do I request a tithe refund?

If you have accepted the Tithe Challenge, and you would like to have all, or a portion of, your tithe returned to you for any reason whatsoever, please fill-out our Tithe Refund Request form. We will promptly mail you a check with absolutely no questions asked. (Tithes given prior to your acceptance of the tithe challenge or more than one year prior to the date of your refund request are not eligible to be refunded.)
